Read our Annual Review and Impact Report for 2023-2024
Available to read online now, we’re delighted to share a review of 2023-2024 outlining our activities and projects, the work of our dedicated volunteers, Staff and Trustees and stories of some of the people we helped.
Who we are and what we do
PCrefurb is a charity that aims to “bridge the digital divide”. We refurbish donated IT equipment and redistribute it to those most in need, helping people connect with training and education and to support their well-being. We provide digital skills training in the community and engage volunteers, some of whom face complex challenges, in all areas of our work.

Projects
Our Digital Link Project works with, and alongside, organisations who serve people in crisis within Tameside, Greater Manchester. We aim to deliver training to individuals who need help to access digital services, and who are currently prevented from doing so due to issues around digital skills, equipment, or connectivity.
Our Access Digital Tameside, funded by the Access Foundation, aims to provide opportunities residents who are experiencing economic deprivation, referred to us by partner organisations within Tameside, to gain a ‘minimum digital standard of living’, supported by staff and volunteers at Digital Training Groups.
