Digital Link Project

August 2023 – July 2026

Our Digital Link Project, funded by the Edward Holt Trust, existed to work with, and alongside, organisations who serve people in crisis within Tameside, Greater Manchester. We delivered training to individuals who needed help to access digital services, and who are currently prevented from doing so due to issues around digital skills, equipment, or connectivity.

We provided group training alongside staff and volunteers from partner organisations. Our role was to train end users, but also help recruit volunteers, and upskill front-line staff, developing their confidence to deliver similar training themselves.

We are extremely grateful that the Edward Holt Trust has supported us in our aim to eliminate that disadvantage for as many people in crisis as possible in Tameside. We believe that the statistics and case studies speak for themselves and we know that, through the Digital Link Project, many individuals and families have been supported on their journey out of poverty and their life chances have improved significantly now they can access online services and support.
