Examples of information we may ask you for include your name, address, phone number and email address which we may need to contact you. We will only use such personal information in accordance with the current UK data protection laws. All personal information will be kept securely to prevent access by unauthorised persons. You have the right to request to see any information we hold about you and to correct any information as necessary.
On receiving donated IT equipment, once it has been logged, where such equipment holds mass storage devices such as hard drives, we wipe these devices using industry standard methods. We produce a Certificate of Destruction specific to each wiped device.
In cases where we are unable to refurbish and reuse donated IT equipment we recycle it under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
