Availability of phones – people in crisis

Updated 15th May 2025

At the time of writing we have a small supply of phones for people in crisis in Tameside. This has been made possible through specific funding.

If you are a Referrer supporting someone in crisis please tell us on the application form.

If you want to make an application for someone without sharing their details please fill in your own details or use initials and tell us on the application form.

Any phones available will be Android smartphones and will come with a Vodafone SIM card which has free texts and calls for 6 months, and 40GB data per month for 6 months. The SIM is just like any other, generously donated by Vodafone. Numbers can be transferred to/from it. After 6 months the SIM reverts to Pay As You Go.
