Digital Support Derbyshire and PCrefurb offer a service providing donated refurbished IT devices to members of the Digital Support Derbyshire Network and the people they support.
As members of the Digital Support Derbyshire Network, if you deliver digital support in Derbyshire (Derby City not included) and your project is in need of refurbished devices, you can apply to PCrefurb to assess your device needs.
Devices can be provided to enable you to run your group, and you can apply for devices to give to eligible individuals that you know are in need of support. These individuals must be resident in Derbyshire (Derby City not included).
As part of this offer there will be a limited number of laptops, tablets, all-in-one desktops and small desktops, all of which are subject to availability. Applications for groups and individuals will be assessed, processed, and prepared on a case-by-case basis.
If your project or the individuals you support don’t have a broadband connection, please let us know as there will also be limited access to Wi-Fi Hotspots and data SIMs.
